Meet Our Team

Jim is the Pastor and founder of The Vine Church. His passion is teaching and training people in their walk with Jesus. He has been serving as a pastor since receiving his Master of Divinity Degree in 1995 from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis (Lutheran Church Missouri Synod).
Pastor Jim has shepherded five churches including three previous church-plants.
He and his wife, Sara, have five children and five grandchildren. They moved to Walker in 2019.

One of Sara Richter’s gifts is teaching, and she loves children! She has helped run children’s ministries and early childhood education centers for over 20 years!
Sara loves being a resource for young families, advocating for healthy families and healthy Spiritual lives.
